Progense is a project accountability platform for agencies — built for the moment a client asks “so… where are we on this?” and the answer is instant. The product is real, live, and pre-launch. There's no funding round behind it yet and no salaries on offer — what's on offer is ownership, credit, and a seat at the table before anyone else takes it seriously.

We’re looking for five people.

Every role comes with the same baseline:

  • A defined season, not an open tab on your life: 5–8 hours a week for 3 months, then we both re-evaluate honestly.
  • Your name on what ships — public credit on the site and launch material, plus a detailed LinkedIn recommendation from the founder (a VP of Front-End Engineering by day).
  • Lifetime access to Progense's top tier for you or your own projects, from launch day.
  • First right to a paid role: when revenue or funding arrives, the people who built this are hired first, at market rate, with their volunteer months counted.

Some roles also carry equity — that's stated on the role page and put in writing with vesting before any work starts. No handshake deals, in either direction.

Co-founder

Not a volunteer role. A second pair of hands on the steering wheel.

Fullstack Engineer

Ship features in production Laravel 13 + Next.js 16, with senior code review.

UI/UX Designer

Own the design of a product real agencies will live in daily.

Motion Designer

Make a launch people actually stop scrolling for.

Project Manager

Run the build of a project management tool — inside the tool itself.

Thanks for applying to build with us. Before you submit, here's what we both agree to:

  • This is an application, not an offer. Submitting doesn't guarantee a role, a response timeline, or any obligation on Progense beyond reviewing your application in good faith.
  • No employment relationship. Applying — and any conversations that follow — does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship. If we work together, the terms will be set out in a separate written contributor agreement that we both sign before any work begins.
  • Compensation. Contributor roles at this stage are unpaid. Any equity, future paid role, or other benefit is only valid once it's in that signed written agreement — nothing discussed before then, in any channel, is a commitment by either side.
  • Your ideas and ours. If you include ideas, portfolio pieces, or suggestions in your application, you keep ownership of them. Equally, anything we share with you about Progense — product plans, designs, unreleased features — is confidential, and you agree not to share or use it outside this process.
  • Your information. We use your name, email, and application details solely to evaluate your application, respond to you, and — if you choose — keep you informed about Progense early access. We never sell your information. You can ask us to delete your application data at any time.
  • Honesty. You confirm the information in your application is accurate and the work you link to is yours (or your part in it is fairly described).
